IS IT JUNE YET?

I used to like the Month of May; you know, the whole "April Showers bring May Flowers" kind of thing...."All things seem possible in May..."

Yeah.

Right.

Someone forgot to tell me that when you become a Mother of a teen who is graduating from high school, May no longer is an idyllic month of tip-toe-ing thru the tulips; it is, instead, a month of preparation, planning, shopping, inviting, doing, doing, doing.....until you are ready to tear your last hair out of your head!!

Then, since I have another teen who is a 10th grader, there are last minute projects that need to be done and assignments that need to be worked on, and this makes for a very stressed out student and parent. I get stressed because he is stressed. Not good for the blood pressure...mine, that is! :)

But, as sure as the sun shines tomorrow, May will finally be over and June will come rushing in. Ahhhh....June....just the word sounds so peaceful, soothing, and calm. Bring it on! I am sooooo ready!!!

  2. I hear ya honey! I'm doing the same thing here. We are running around trying to get all the stuff that Anna needs for college so that DJ can take it to summer camp! Not to mention, Anna graduating and everything that goes with the end of the year for DJ. UGH, I'm tired just telling you. But you know this. I'm off to shop. Try and have a relaxing day. Yeah right!
