SPRING HAS SPRUNG

Oh, how glorious it is! My crocuses are coming up and the tips of the tulip leaves are peeking up through the ground.

The air smells so fresh and clean, the sky is blue, and the birdies are singing. Ahhhh....so far, all is peaceful in my corner of small town.

For this moment, at least! HA!

I am off to the bigger Small Town to do a little shopping. I was really excited to snag two of those t-shirts at Walgreens the other day. They were only $2.50 each and my teen son really likes them. I am going to go back and see if this Walgreens has some in an XL for hubby.

SUPER SENSATIONAL SHOUT OUT SATURDAY

****Because of my wonderful bloggy friend SonyaAnn (or as Frances says, booger friend..HA!) :), I am renaming this to Shout Out Saturday!****

I have cruised around bloggy world this week, reading and visiting a lot of blogs, and this was a hard choice, but I have decided that today's SUPER SENSATIONAL SHOUT OUT SATURDAY is going to feature not one but TWO blogs: Joops over at sailors musings and Desiree over at three plus 2. I love visiting these blogs, and as I was typing this, I happened to realize that both of these bloggers are with the military! Joops is with the Navy, and Desiree's husband is in the military ( Air Force?). How fitting since this is Memorial Day Weekend!! So, if you have a chance, visit their blogs and if you have time, leave a comment. I have brother-in-laws in the military, and I know the sacrifices that they and their families go through in order to protect our country.

HAVE A WONDERFUL DAY! I am going to finish planting my garden (I re-visited Annie Jones' blog over at living life real, and her garden is up and growing!) So, I need to get busy. My garden is down and out at this moment, but today is going to be a nice, sunny day, and it is supposed to rain tomorrow, so the weather looks like it just might cooperate!
