This H1N1 has totally wiped me out....I slept the fitful sleep of one who has the flu, and was alternately hot and cold, hot and cold. I dragged myself out of bed, at 2:30am and took my temp. Still right around 100 degrees. Drats. I took more tylenol, added more covers to the bed, put a robe on over the robe that I was already wearing, and was finally able to get a little more rest. So, after sweating through all of those layers, my fever is now down in the normal range. After teen daughter gets on the bus, I am going to lay back down and hopefully get some fever-free rest!

My teen son, however, seems to be recovering quite nicely. For that, I give all praise and thanks to the Lord!

Have a wonderful day everyone! Stay Well!!

  1. Oh, I'm so sorry that you are sick!! I hope that you start to feel better soon. And such commitment to the blog...you got up and put up a post anyway! Too sweet. My hubby woke up with a scratchy throat this morning. I hope it doesn't turn in to anything!

    Get well!!

  4. You poor baby! DJ and I had it last year, I think. The doctor didn't want us to come in. But what we had and when was right in the time line that it wiped out DJ's jr high.
Sleep and some tea should help. I took ACV pills and that helped.
    Sending you healing vibes!

  7. I am NOT ignoring you!!!!!!!!!!! :-) I have burglaries, dog-nappings and pumpkin carving to contend with! Sheesh. :-)
Hi mom!!!!!!!!!!! Take care of our girl. And if she has any more appointments in the Chicago area let me know. Take a ride with her and I'll meet up with you both. That would be a first. Bloggers have been known to meet but that would be the first time a blogger's mom joined in :-)
